What Is the AI Learning Trainer?

The AI Learning Trainer is a privacy-first, browser-based study tool that processes your own study materials — notes, textbooks, articles, PDFs — and generates a personalized learning guide, practice quiz, summary, and Q&A assistant. Unlike cloud-based AI services, all processing happens entirely in your browser. Your study content is never uploaded to any server, never stored in a database, and is permanently erased when you close or reload the page.

How the AI Model Works

This tool uses a lightweight natural language processing (NLP) approach called keyword-based semantic indexing. Here's what happens when you click "Train AI Model":

• Text parsing: Your content is split into individual sentences and filtered to remove very short fragments
• Stop word removal: Common words like "the", "is", "and" are removed, leaving only meaningful content words
• Indexing: Each sentence is indexed with its key vocabulary, enabling efficient lookup when you ask questions
• Guide generation: The tool identifies sentences that likely contain definitions ("is a", "refers to", "defined as") and extracts key points
• Summary extraction: The sentences with the highest density of unique key terms are selected and re-ordered by position to produce a coherent summary
• Quiz generation: Keywords are identified and hidden in sentences to create fill-in-the-blank practice questions

Supported File Formats

• PDF (.pdf): Text-based PDFs exported from Microsoft Word, Google Docs, academic publishing platforms, and most ebook readers. Up to 20 pages processed (10MB limit).
• EPUB (.epub): Standard ebook format supported by most ebook readers and publishing platforms.
• Plain Text (.txt): Simple text files. Copy-paste from any source into the text area is also fully supported.

Privacy note: Scanned image-based PDFs (photos of documents) cannot be processed because they contain no extractable text. Image PDFs require OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology, which is not included in this tool's local-only architecture.
